Newton's Law for Engineers
Law -1: Every Engineer continues his state of chatting or forwarding mails unless he is assigned work by external unbalanced manager.
Law -2: The rate of change in the Work is directly proportional to the payment received from client and takes place at the quick rate when deadline force is applied.
Law -3: For every appraisal there is an equal but opposite Work Implementation. Bonus
Law -4: Mistakes can neither be created nor be removed from drawings by an engineer. It can only be converted from one form to another, the total number of mistakes in the drawing always remains constant

Essentials of Life
One day I decided to quit...I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality. ...
I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.
"God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?" His answer surprised me.
"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?" "Yes", I replied.
"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them.
I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth.
Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed.
But I did not quit on the bamboo.
In the second year the fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed.
But I did not quit on the bamboo. "In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed.
But I would not quit. The same in year four.
"Then in the fifth year, a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern, it was seemingly small and insignificant.
But just six months later, the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.
It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.
I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle.
"Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots?
I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you.
"Don't compare yourself to others." He said.
"The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful.
"Your time will come", God said to me. "You will rise high"
"How high should I rise?" I asked.
"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.
"As high as it can?" I questioned
"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."
I left the forest, realizing that God will never give up on me. And He will never give up on you.
Never regret a day in your life. Good days give you happiness; bad days give you experiences; both are essential to life.

Drama all around
Last couple of days have been flooded with dramatic events at MG3 site.
First Mr. Consortium Project Manager got furious over one of our staff member at site and made lot of fuss about some triavial issues.
We all condemn his deed!!!
He must improve his way of treating and behaving with the people.
Such acts plummet the overall morale of the team and it certainly would not be a wholesome thing for the project as well as the relationship between the two groups.
Next time he started doing similar kind of treatment with one of our safety officer and man that was it. He got mouth full from him!!
Hope not to see / listen such nasty way of treatment from our own members in future.

1 More wicket down
1st It was P Gopalakrishnan
then Mr. Selvam
and then yesterday we hear of loosing one more wicket from ECC team of the project Consortium.
But unlike the 1st two wickets falling down, this one would necessarily be some cause of worry as far as the site administration is concerned. We always felt and felt in true sense that he has never been like a typical site accountant , whinning always before clearing a staff's TA and wagging tail in front of the bosses.
There are only handfuls of such dapper, articulate and spruce guy in a/c and admin at site level. We were certainly priviledged to have him on this site managing his department with elegance insite of the chaotic system or rather lack of it around him.
Nevertheless what ever happnes it does so for the goodness.
Therefore we wish him all the best in his future endeavours!!
We also request him to keep visiting on this blogg and enrich this by posting his thoughts in future.
We look forward to have a good farewell party!

Morale boosting Required for (Team) MG3

Some great changes are expected in the salaries...good news...the bad news is that it is not meeting over expectations...as usual... Guys what is the limit of our satisfaction...SKY.
Now, we need some changes in the organisation structure at site. We are now in a phase where we feel that " this is not my problem" and we have the index fingure very busy in showing directions...
Common , give respect to the persons and after all every one is putting the best of their capacities to cope up with the requirements of client and within.
We have learnt good lessons after taking this job...and ... now why we are poised to tarnish individuals' morale...and confidence...
Let us start this way....why not encourage each other so that even though we could see more of failures than success in other person , even though you are not satisfied with the other persons interaction or response...just ignore that for a moment and praise what he has done good so far...let it not be for you ...and
that will give him a feeling and encourages him to rectify himself...
Let us not be on fault finding mission with every one...as this will not help anyone...
Good luck and wait for next posting...

Its all about thinking-----
A teacher asks her class, "If there are 5 birdssitting on a fence and you shoot one of them, how manywill be left?" She calls on little TONY.He replies, "None, they will all fly away with the first gunshot."The teacher replies, "The correct answer is 4, but Ilike your thinking."Then little TONY says, "I have a question for YOU.There are 3 women sitting on a bench having ice cream: One is delicately licking the sides of the triplescoop of ice cream. The second is gobbling down the top and sucking thecone. The third is biting off the top of the ice cream. Which one is married?" The teacher, blushing a great deal, replied, "Well, Isuppose the one that's gobbled down the top and suckedthe cone."To which Little TONY replied, "The correct answer is'the one with the wedding ring on," but I like your thinking."
Keep it up!
Nice to see the popularity of mg3bole.
But I would suggest you guys to design your post more pertinent to our project group here so that we do not loose its relevance. The stuffs should revolve around the happenings at mg3 site, the general gossips, any comment, critical arguments, your own analysis and comments.
Hope to see lots more in imminent future.

Poor communication-------

LETS GO TO MARS

Do you know the time taken by mars to rotate around itself is much more than our earth. Implies, we will have more number of hours per day. Thus, with the new timings and with revision-1 , still we have ample space to move around...so we should have a special vehicle for going to mars...obviously...for families a separate vehile with free drinks and popcorns...
Sorry bachelors...no you have to go to Venus for what you are looking for..but you have to toil more there as a day in venus is having less number of hours...so think twice in that direction...
did I say earth...no laah...
Hey, again, I heard now after the recent spate of container shiftings...there is a new virus catching up...its time shifting...have u ever heard that...here in Mg3 ...every thing is BOLE...
Keep sharing... good and bad....

Colin Wang visit
Mr. Colin Wang, MD of Petronas Penapisan Sdn. Bhd. has visited site office this afternoon. No more detail available with me as I donno what all is happening there. Anybody knowing about this issue pls throw some light.
What Problem?
Other day our friend has written "because of some problem some of our frnds have left site for India". He did not divulge what was 'that problem'. I would like to elaborate this real storylittle moret.
On Thursday 21st Sep'06 at about 12.30 there was some sort of a raid by the immigration department at site. This created panick all around the site. some people could flee from the site (leaders fled first) but not all could manage to do so. Mr. Raghvendran was caught red handed as his passport was picked up by one of the immigration officer.
Sreekant , Pramod, Bala and DAM could manage to escape.
Repercussion: Management has become very careful now before sending anyone to this land without getting the valid wkpmt.

Shifted to new office
The container and cabin office belongings have been shifted to the immaculate office building. None of the L&Tites has ever seen a site office like this one. Almost everyone is happy with the office except some area managers. Come on AMs you have your own den at the workplace so do not you frown over us.
Nothing special
WE NEED to CHANGE THE EARTHS ROTATION TIMINGS...
SO THAT WE CAN SLEEP MORE AND HAVE FUN...
SO THAT WE CAN SLEEP MORE AND HAVE FUN...
Overtime
Due to some reasons, some of our colleagues had left for India, sad for them. As the result, our work load become more because we need to cover up and follow up the scope being incharged by them. So we have a lot of 'Overtime' recently. Tiring~So, please come back fast our lovely team mates.
Some thing to share
Lesson One
Management Lesson - To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.
Lesson Two
Management Lesson - Bull shit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.
Lesson Three
Management Lesson -
(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
(3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!
This ends your two minute management course.
An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing. A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, "Can I also sit like you and do nothing?"The eagle answered: "Sure, why not."So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.
Lesson Two
A turkey was chatting with a bull. "I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree," sighed the turkey, "but I haven't got the energy.""Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied the bull. "They're packed with nutrients."The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly erched at the top of the tree.He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.
Management Lesson - Bull shit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.
Lesson Three
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold, the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him.As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.
Management Lesson -
(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
(3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!
